Easy Carne Asada Tacos

This post is sponsored by Tony Chachere’s, but all opinions are 100% my own.

If you are a fan of carne asada tacos, but don’t want to have to go to a restaurant to satisfy that craving, I have good news for you. You don’t need a restaurant or a complicated recipe to make them right in the comfort of your own home! I partnered with my friends at Tony Chachere’s to create this easy recipe for carne asada tacos that are packed with bold flavor, are ready in a hurry, and come out perfect every single time. Whether you need a simple weeknight dinner or are entertaining for Cinco de Mayo, these carne asada tacos are just the recipe to make.

This marinade comes together with a base of my favorite Tony Chachere’s Steak Marinade and gets an extra boost of flavor with citrus and spices to create the most delicious and tender steak that takes these tacos to the next level.

Why you’ll love this recipe:

  • Quick and easy marinade

  • Juicy, flavorful steak every single time

  • Perfect for tacos, bowls, nachos, or salads

  • Great for meal prep or entertaining

What is Carne Asada?

Carne asada means “grilled meat” in Spanish, but it’s typically made with marinated flank steak or skirt steak in citrus and spices to create it’s signature flavor.

Tips for the Best Carne Asada:

  • Use plenty of Tony Chachere’s Steak Marinade + citrus to tendersize and flavor the meat

  • Use high heat to char the outside of the steak whether you are grilling or searing in a pan

  • Let the steak rest before slicing to ensure the juices and flavor stay inside the meat

  • Cut against the grain when slicing to keep the meat tender

Variations and Serving Ideas:

  • Turn this recipe into a carne asada bowl with beans and rice

  • Make nachos by adding cheese and desired toppings

  • Make a carne asada taco salad

  • Make quesadillas with the leftover meat

These easy carne asada tacos are one of those recipes you’ll want to come back to again and again. They are simple, full of flavor, and perfect for sharing around the table. Whether it’s Cinco de Mayo with friends, or a casual family taco night, this recipe brings that authentic, grilled flavor right to your backyard.

Make sure to check out Tony Chachere’s website to snag this delicious Steakhouse Marinade + other delicious pantry staples.
