Baked turkey stuffing casserole in a white casserole dish.

All of the cozy Thanksgiving flavors baked into one comforting dish. This turkey stuffing casserole is everything you love about the holidays wrapped up in one bite.

Easy Turkey Stuffing Casserole

This post is sponsored by Tony Chachere’s, but all opinions are 100% my own.

If you’re looking for a cozy, no-fuss meal to use up your Thanksgiving leftovers, this Turkey Stuffing Casserole is the perfect way to give those leftovers new life. I partnered with my friends at Tony Chachere’s to create this recipe using one of my favorite products, their Cornbread Stuffing Mix, that makes this dish so easy to whip up. It’s got everything you love about those nostalgic holiday flavors all wrapped up into one cozy dish. Even better? This casserole also makes a great main dish option for a smaller Thanksgiving gathering. You get all of the best flavors of the holiday, tender turkey, savory stuffing (my favorite part), and the smells of Thanksgiving all wrapped up into one easy casserole.

Why You’ll Love this Recipe:

  1. Perfect for leftovers. You can use any of your leftover bits to create a satisfying meal.

  2. Ideal for small gatherings. All of the flavors of Thanksgiving with less hassle and stress.

  3. Simple ingredients and easy to make. Made with just a few ingredients and can be ready in a jiffy.

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • Tony Chachere’s Cornbread Stuffing Mix

  • Leftover Turkey (or roast a breast instead of a whole turkey)

  • Spicy Sausage (can also substitute bacon)

  • Turkey or Chicken Broth

  • Fresh Herbs (can also use dried, but if you have some fresh poultry herbs I recommend!)

  • Butter

  • Eggs

  • Veggies like onion, celery, bell pepper or any other ones you want to throw in!

  • Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning

  • Shredded Cheese

Tips and Variations:

  1. Swap chicken instead of turkey.

  2. Use bacon instead of sausage.

  3. Use any cheese that you have on hand.

  4. Add in extra veggies or any other leftovers you might have on hand from the meal.

This turkey stuffing casserole is the answer to that post Thanksgiving exhaustion. It’s easy, cozy, and full of holiday flavor. Whether you are feeding your friends and family the next day or hosting a small gathering, this dish brings all of the comfort of Thanksgiving in one bite.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Boxes Tony Chachere’s Stuffing Mix

  • 1 Cup Cooked and Shredded or Diced Turkey Meat

  • 1 Lb. Spicy Ground Sausage

  • 1 Cup Chopped Celery

  • 1 Cup Chopped Onion

  • 1 Tbsp. Finely Chopped Rosemary

  • 1 Tbsp. Finely Chopped Sage

  • 1 Tbsp. Finely Chopped Thyme

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter

  • 2-2 Cups Turkey or Chicken Stock

  • 2 Eggs

  • 2 Cups Grated White Cheddar Cheese

  • 1 Tsp + 1 Tbsp. Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add sausage and cook until browned. Remove from pan, leaving the drippings.

  • Add celery, onion, bell pepper, and butter to the skillet and season with 1 Tsp. Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning, fresh herbs and sauté until vegetables begin to get tender.

  •  Add sausage back into the skillet along with the cooked turkey and toss to combine with the cooked veggie mixture.

  • Whisk eggs into 2 cups of the broth and whisk until combined.

  • In a large bowl add the boxes of Tony Chachere’s Stuffing Mix, veggies and meat mixture, 1 Tbsp. of Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning, and slowly add the 2 cups of eggs and stock, stirring as you pour until the mixture is just coated. You want the mix to be moist but not soggy.

  • Stir in grated cheese at this time.

  • Add the stuffing mixture to a 9 x 13 pan and place into the oven and cook for 30 minutes until the casserole is browned.

  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  • Serve with leftover gravy or on it’s own.
