Cajun Deviled Egg Pasta Salad

This post is sponsored by Tony Chachere’s, but all opinions are 100% my own.

If you love deviled eggs and a good pasta salad, then you are going to go crazy over this Cajun Deviled Egg Pasta Salad. It takes everything you love about traditional deviled eggs and transforms it into an irresistible pasta salad with a Cajun twist. I used my favorite Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning to give the dressing for this pasta salad a bold kick of flavor that takes this pasta salad to the next level.

This pasta salad has all of the flavors you love of a deviled egg like tangy mustard, a little pickle flavor, and that creaminess that is signature to deviled eggs. Plus it’s got my favorite Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning to really take it up a notch in the flavor department. Whether you are headed to a backyard BBQ, cookout, or just want the perfect make ahead side dish, this recipe is guaranteed to be a hit with your family and friends.

Why You’ll Love This Cajun Deviled Egg Pasta Salad

  • Full of that classic deviled egg flavor

  • Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning adds the perfect kick

  • Easy to make ahead for entertaining

  • Perfect for potlucks, picnics, and summer holidays

  • Great served alongside burgers, grilled chicken, ribs, or seafood

What makes it Cajun?

The secret is in using Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning (my favorite) to the creamy dressing + a little Creole Mustard. It gives the pasta salad that bold flavor that perfectly compliments the creaminess and richness of the eggs and dressing.

Adjust the spice level to your preference.

Tips for the Best Pasta Salad

Cool the pasta and the eggs completely. Chilling these allows for the pasta not to soak up the dressing and cooling the eggs keeps the texture right.

Make it ahead of time. This pasta salad tastes even better after 24 hours in the fridge allowing the flavors to meld together.

Save a little of the dressing to add right before serving. As the pasta chills, it will absorb some of the dressing, so I like to add extra dressing on top right before I serve it.

Variations

  • Use whatever shape of pasta you prefer and/or use gluten free pasta if desired

  • Add bacon

  • Use a sweet relish if you prefer over a dill one

  • Add in cheese of choice

  • Add in extra chopped veggies that you have on hand like bell pepper

This Cajun deviled egg pasta salad would be the perfect addition to any summer plans and is a dish you will be asked to bring back again and again.

Storage Tips

Make sure to refrigerate the pasta salad. It will stay fresh for up to 3 days. Give it a good stir before serving and add extra dressing if needed at that time.
