Hello friends and hello Friday!! Anyone else feel like they have been waiting on today since Monday? Or is that basically every week? It's not the the weekdays are all that bad, it's just that I look forward to the weekends when my hubby is home and we can hang out as a family and take a little break from work! One of my absolute favorite weekend traditions is cooking a big breakfast for the family! Usually at least one day that means pancakes are going to happen! My easy sheet pan pancakes are going to be your new favorite way to fix the most perfect pancakes without fail!
How many times have you found yourself standing at the stove still flipping pancakes while your family and friends are eating their hot pancakes at the table? I mean sure I put them in the oven to keep warm as I keep flipping and while my goal is to always be seated at the table with everyone else when they start eating, I inevitably find myself at the stove...still turning pancakes.
And if it's not that, I end up getting half of the pancakes perfect while the other half all but burn because I get distracted with a toddler pulling on my leg or a go to put a load of laundry in and then bam..half of the pancakes are borderline inedible.
That's why I will probably never make individual pancakes again, because once I started making my easy sheet pan pancakes, I realized how much time I could save and just how delicious every single bite could be! Simple whip up the batter, spread onto a baking sheet, pop into the oven, set your timer and go do whatever it is you need to do!
These pancakes would be so perfect for the upcoming holiday season to when you have guests at your house and want a crowd pleasing recipe that doesn't take much effort! Load them with berries, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and drizzle maple syrup on top and you have yourself a gorgeous breakfast that you can be excited about serving your family!
I can't wait for you to give this method a try and this weekend would be the perfect time to test it out! This recipe is a basic pancake recipe, but would be great turned into blueberry sheet pan pancakes or even more seasonally appropriate, pumpkin pancakes!
Have you ever tried making sheet pan pancakes before? I can tell you that I am a fan and I think you will be too!
