Guys...I have been keeping a secret about a little (no wait big) project that I have been working on for a few months now! I am working on my SECOND cookbook that is to be released this fall! This time around it's all about the babies though, and I am so happy to tell you that I am releasing a cookbook, The Homemade Baby, this fall that will be stocked full of recipes for babies just starting on solids all the way through the toddler years!
And let's be honest by the time you cook your way through the book, you will soon realized once you are out of the puree only stage, that you will be stealing some of your baby's food too! These recipes are all homemade, from real ingredients, and they will show you how to introduce certain foods when and how!
When I was pregnant with Parks I knew right away that making his food from the beginning was something I wanted to do and was really excited about too! While this is definitely not for everyone, I would recommend everyone giving it a go because from a cost perspective it's cheaper, and also you control all of the ingredients which for me, is super important!
If you have been thinking that my blog posts have been a little few and far between, I apologize! I have been a little pre-occupied with baby food recipe testing, cooking, writing, and photographing! I promise that shortly I will be back to regular scheduled blog posts in a few weeks!
Anyway, I hope you guys are super excited because I am so pumped to share this with you all! I am working with the same publisher who published my first book, The Unexpected Cajun Kitchen, and my same fabulous editor Leah, who is amazing to work with!
The release date is scheduled for early fall and I can't wait for you to test it out on your babes at home! Thank you for all of your support, it really means so much to me!! You are the reason I get to do what I do! 2017 is going to be a great year! Stay tuned for more updates throughout the year!
