I have never met a potato I didn’t like and fries have their own category of deliciousness if you ask me. I love making fries at home because I can bake them right up and don’t have to feel guilty about eating half the pan. I accidentally made the best fries one night for our dinner and knew that I had to create a recipe for y’all asap. We happen to love mediterranean flavors in our house and this blend of spices really take these baked oven fries to the next level. On top of that I created a feta dip that is going to not only become your new favorite fry dip, but your new favorite spread for all of the things. This recipe for Mediterranean baked fries with feta dip is one that you simply must try.
I have a very strong love for pasta salads. I love that I can load them up with tons of veggies, or in this case even some fruit and get my pasta craving satisfied at the same time. The key to a good pasta salad to me is to have several textures, and flavors that come together with a tangy vinaigrette. I tend to make more pasta salads when the weather warms up for whatever reason and I love that I can keep them in the fridge and they are great for easy lunches, potlucks, or as a side dish to serve up with a grilled protein. This recipe for strawberry, feta, and herb pasta salad is going to become one of your favorite dishes to bring to any picnic, potluck, or simply just to serve at home!
Potato salad is a classic summertime dish for pot lucks, picnics, and more. Traditionally most potato salads are loaded with mayo and the potatoes are boiled until soft. There are few potato salads that I love for those reasons which is why I created a delicious new way to make potato salad that you are going to love so much. I am all about adding in crisp veggies into my potato salad, a little something pickled, and roasting the potatoes instead of boiling them for extra flavor and texture is a game changer. This recipe for roasted potato salad with asparagus, pickled fennel, and herbs will quickly become your new favorite potato salad.
This post is sponsored by Tony Chachere’s, but all opinions are 100% my own.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I don’t know about you, but I am all about the side dishes when it comes to the Thanksgiving dinner menu. I mean sure, the turkey is great and all, but bring on the sides please! One dish that our family always has at the table is a corn casserole and everyone always goes crazy for it. For this Thanksgiving, I partnered with Tony Chachere’s to bring you a twist on that same classic corn casserole that takes it to a whole new level. I love a Cajun kick for just about any recipe and this recipe for Cajun corn casserole is surely going to become a new family favorite for your Thanksgiving menu year after year.
The Thanksgiving countdown is on and the side dishes are where it’s at if you ask me. Everyone has their non-negotiable recipes that have to be made every year, and for me, it is always dressing (or maybe you call it stuffing.) Either way, it’s a classic dish that I think is a necessary part of the menu during the holiday season. There are so many varieties of dressing out there, but this year I decided to bring back a classic recipe that my grandfather used to make. Oyster dressing is maybe a bit old school and you don’t hear about it as much these days, but I decided that it needed to make a come back this year. You are going to love adding this oyster dressing to your holiday table this year and many more to come.
If you have ever been to a Mexican restaurant, then you have probably seen charro beans on the menu for a side. They are a popular Tex-Mex side dish and one of my favorite side dishes that I like to enjoy. Charro beans are made with pinto beans that get strewed with smoky bacon, onion, garlic, spices, and more to make them extra flavorful and delicious. I started making my own charro beans a few years back and they are so delicious that you could honestly make a meal out of them on their own, you just need a side of tortillas and some avocado. I would 100% be a happy girl to eat these for dinner any night of the week. My charro beans are easy to make, are packed with flavor, and will make the best side dish for any Tex-Mex or Mexican meal that you make at home.
