Caramel Latte Pumpkin Affogato

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #LatteMadeEasy #CollectiveBias

There is a cool front that has rolled through town this week and I couldn't be more excited about crisp mornings and the ability to leave my windows open all day.  This has to be my favorite time of year because I get to break out my cozy sweaters, the holidays aren't far away, and an afternoon cup of coffee is always welcomed.  Because I work from home, I am not always able to get to a coffee shop when I want the perfect latte, so luckily for me International Delight® One Touch Latte'™ makes creating the perfect latte at home a no brainer in just three easy steps!  I like to took it a step further and created a caramel latte pumpkin affogato that is everything I love about fall into one mug!

Sparkling Blueberry Basil Lemonade

Sparkling Blueberry Basil Lemonade

Sparkling Blueberry Basil Lemonade

It's getting incredibly hot outside in Texas and I've been thinking about getting a baby pool and parking me and my belly in it for the whole summer.  It's the kinda hot where you wake up in the morning and can feel the heat rising as the minutes pass.  And...it's not even at hot compared to what the rest of the summer will bring!  I have gotten used to the fact that I'll basically be sweaty all summer long, but then again Louisiana prepared me for humid and hot days where your skin never dries.  The only thing to do is to hydrate.  This can mean drinking water all day, or it can also mean sipping on something really delicious to help you deal with the heat.  My sparkling blueberry basil lemonade is going to make the heat a little more bearable this summer and if you spike it, it can help with a whole bunch of other stuff too...know what I mean?

Whenever I drink lemonade, it always takes me back to when I was a little girl sitting on the side of the road, where I would sell painted rocks (one of a kind, I assure you) and I would sell homemade lemonade to the neighbors.

Green Tea Cucumber Cooler: My Diary of Us

Green Tea Cucumber Cooler

Are the weeks flying by in your life?  They are for me!  Honestly, how is it already May?  We have been in Texas for over a month now and the time has disappeared.  I feel like it's so easy to stay in our routines day by day and most of the time one day runs into the next before we have stopped to enjoy one single moment.  And then weeks pass and months and then another year.  I'm exhausted just thinking about it!  I have a goal this weekend to press pause and enjoy the moment, and one great way to do it is to drink one of my green tea cucumber coolers!

This drink is the ultimate refresher for the hot days that we have been experiencing and has a spa like flavor, forcing you into a relaxing state!  I think we could all use a little force to relax and slow down in life.  You with me?

Pineapple, Strawberry, and Spinach Smoothie: My Diary of Us

Pineapple, Strawberry, and Spinach Smoothie

Everybody has a favorite smoothie.  There are a bajillion smoothie recipes out there and you can really put just about anything you want into a blender and come up with your own version of a smoothie.  I know that, I know that you might not really NEED my recipe for my favorite smoothie too, but I'm going to share it with you anyway.  Humor me...  My pineapple, strawberry, and spinach smoothie is the perfect breakfast/afternoon pick me up and lately with the weather getting warm I could drink one everyday.
