My steamed marinara mussels with basil are so delicious and are sure to become a favorite with your whole family!

2 Lb. Mussels (washed)
1 Jar Barilla® Tomato Rosa Premium Pasta Sauce
1 Finely Diced Onion
4 Finely Minced Cloves of Garlic
1 1/2 Cups Seafood Stock
1/4 Cup Fresh Basil
1 Tsp. Kosher or Sea Salt
1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper
1 Tsp. Red Chili Flake (optional)
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Baguette for serving
Heat a dutch oven over medium heat. Add olive oil.
Add onion and garlic and season with salt, pepper, and red chili flakes and cook for 2-3 minutes until onions start to become translucent.
Pour in Barilla Tomato Rosa Pasta Sauce and seafood stock and stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn heat back up to a low boil and add mussels and then place the lid on the pot.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until mussels open.
Add fresh basil and stir to combine.
Serve with crusty bread.
