Sheet Pan Walking Tacos

This post is sponsored by Tony Chachere’s, but all opinions are 100% my own.

If you love the flavor of tacos but want to simplify things, these Sheet Pan Walking Tacos are about to become a regular on your weeknight menu or for the next big game day. It’s a one pan, minimal clean up, everyone gets to build their own kind of meal, making this a stress-free dinner the whole family can agree on. I partnered with Tony Chachere’s to create this delicious and easy recipe using their Chili Seasoning Mix which is perfect for seasoning up the ground beef perfectly.

This recipe takes the classic walking taco and turns it into a simple, one-pan, oven-baked meal that’s perfect for busy nights, casual gatherings, or game day at home.

Why You’ll Love These Sheet Pan Walking Tacos

  • One pan, minimal cleanup

  • Ready in under 30 minutes

  • Perfect for busy weeknights

  • Customizable for picky eaters

  • Great for feeding a crowd

When dinner feels overwhelming, this is the kind of recipe that lets you get food on the table with ease.

What Are Walking Tacos?

Walking tacos are traditionally made by adding taco fillings directly into a small bag of chips, usually a type of corn chip, so you can eat them on the go. This sheet pan version simplifies the process by cooking one family portion together in the oven, then adding desired toppings and serving them up for a crowd.

Make It Work for Your Family

  • Swap the protein: Ground turkey, chicken, or even plant-based crumbles work great.

  • Add veggies: Bell peppers or onions can be mixed into the meat mixture.

  • Add whatever desired toppings your family loves.

This is one of those meals that the whole family can agree on, no separate dinners required.

Perfect for Weeknights, Parties, or Game Day

Whether you’re feeding your family on a Tuesday night or serving a crowd on game day, sheet pan walking tacos are always a win. They’re simple and delicious and are exactly what real-life cooking needs to be.
