Spiced Pear Skillet Cake

This post is sponsored by Tony Chachere’s, but opinions are 100% my own.

Pears are the underestimated fall fruit in my opinion.  I feel like all I hear about are apples and pumpkin at this time of year, but I am here to change that mindset friends because pears are glorious right now and I can’t get enough!  Sure they are delicious on their own as a snack, but when you use them to make delicious fall baked goods…well now you are onto something special!  This is the time of year when I get the baking bug and I find myself wanting to bake all the cozy goods and have my house smelling of warm and inviting spices from now until Christmas.  That’s why I partnered with Tony Chachere’s to bring you the coziest Thanksgiving dessert that you are going to want add to your holiday menu.  My Spiced Pear Skillet Cake is not only super easy to make thanks to Tony Chachere’s Creole Hush Puppy Mix, but it’s also beautiful and full of flavor too!

Easy Homemade Chicken Stock

Homemade chicken stock is one of those recipes, that until you finally make your own, you don’t realize what a huge difference in flavor it can make to recipes of all kinds! I will admit I always have store bought stock on hand for emergencies, but my preferred way is to make sure to make a batch of homemade chicken stock almost weekly to use in recipes throughout the week. Homemade stock is so nourishing and full of nutrients. It’s a great way to use up any veggies that are looking a little less than perfect hanging out in the kitchen too. My easy homemade chicken stock and is going to become one of your favorite fridge and freezer staples and the recipe couldn’t be any easier to make!

Easy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Fall is here and it’s time to break out those slow cookers y’all! I honestly always forget how much I love my slow cooker until I use it and realize just how easy it makes weeknight dinners. I know Instant Pots are all the rage, but I just can’t stop using my slow cooker. There is something about the smell of cozy food cooking all day long and filling the house with delicious smells that just makes me so happy. One of the recipes I make the most in my slow cookers is a classic pot roast. This is a meal that my mom made me growing up and it happens to be one of my husband’s favorite fall meals! My Easy Slow Cooker Pork Roast is full of flavor, easy to make, and you can make multiple meals out of it for the whole week.
