Three Ways to Use Salsa Verde

This post is sponsored by Zwilling, but all opinions are 100% my own.

Having a mixture of sauces on hand in the fridge can really make mealtime that much easier. I love prepping a batch of my favorite salsa verde to put on all the things to really amp up the flavor in any dish! I partnered with my friends at Zwilling to share with you my favorite salsa verde recipe plus three different ways you can utilize it in your everyday cooking. Whether you want to use it as a condiment, add it to soups, or even marinate meat, this is one sauce you are going to want to make a batch of regularly. These three ways to use salsa verde will become your go-to flavor boosting secret!

Making a batch of salsa verde doesn’t have to be hard, especially when you just throw it into a blender! I char up my tomatillos in my favorite Staub cast iron pan and then throw all ingredients into my blender. I am absolutely loving the Zwilling Enfinigy Powder Blender that is not only beautiful to look at, but is super efficient too. This blender is great for making large batches of something like this salsa verde, but can also be used for nut butters, smoothies, ice cream, ice crushing and more! It is heat and cold resistant and super easy to keep clean as well. I could not be more pleased with how it performs.

I simply blend up the salsa verde and then store it in the fridge for up to two weeks to use whenever I need to add a flavor boost to any dish. Not only can you use this salsa verde for a dip with chips, but it is amazing to marinate meat with. I love to pour it over chicken, fish, shrimp, or even beef and then store it in my favorite to Zwilling Fresh & Save vacuum-sealing containers while it marinates. After it marinates, I throw it on the grill and when the meat is done, you have yourself delicious proteins to add to salads, fajitas, or to serve alone with some veggies.

My other favorite way to utilize this salsa verde it is to use it as a base for soups. It makes a really amazing salsa verde white chicken chili and makes it easy to get serious flavor quick! You could also use it in a chicken pozole, or a taco soup. There truly are so many options when it comes to how you can use this salsa verde. It’s a fridge staple that you are going to want to keep on hand!
