Easy Ground Beef Gyros

Ground beef is a freezer staple at our house because it can be transformed into so many different meals. I love using it in this gyro recipe because it makes this recipe quick and easy as opposed to the traditional beef gyro method of cooking. These easy ground beef gyros are one of my favorite weeknight meals to have on even the busiest of days. The whole dinner comes together in under twenty minutes and it’s always a hit with the whole family. This recipe for easy ground beef gyros is one that you are going to want to make over and over again.

We love Mediterranean food at our house and because we don’t have a great place for takeout near us, this is my go-to recipe when I want a gyro fix! By using the ground beef, it cuts down on the cook time and truly makes this recipe extremely easy to make. You simply brown up some ground beef in a skillet, add some seasonings and then make the most delicious tzatziki sauce to go on top. From there you stuff it all into a pita or flatbread with all of your favorite toppings and the end result is truly so good.

I also like to make a gyro bowl out of this recipe if I want to eat it more as a salad and not a wrap. I make my favorite Greek rice and then pile all of the ingredients right into a bowl. It’s SO good! Choose your favorite way of serving it, or switch it up depending on the day. Any way you enjoy these ground beef gyros, you truly can’t go wrong.

Feel free to buy your own tzatziki if you want to make this recipe even more simple, but my recipe is easy and I love how fresh it is too! You simply add greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, cucumber, garlic, salt, and pepper to a bowl and stir to combine. So easy and so delicious and is a must for topping these gyros.

I can’t wait for you to give this easy and delicious gyro recipe a try for yourself!
