Chopped Salad Pizza

This post is sponsored by Tony Chachere’s, but all opinions are 100% my own.

Pizza is one of those meals that I know my family will be on board with any night of the week. I started making my own pizzas years ago once I realized how easy and how delicious it could be. With the availability of store bought pizza dough in regular grocery stores nowadays, making homemade pizza has never been easier. I partnered with Tony Chachere’s to bring you a chopped salad pizza using their new line of salad dressings that combines pizza and salad together in perfect harmony. You may be thinking, salad on pizza? But trust me, it’s the best of both worlds and makes me feel a little better about serving up my weekly pizza to my family! Plus anytime I can get my toddler to eat more salad, is a meal that I will continue to make over and over. My chopped salad pizza is going to quickly become one of your family’s new favorite ways to eat pizza!

You could really do any type of salad combination on top of your pizza that you prefer, but I like pairing a crunchy Italian chopped salad dressed perfectly the right amount of Tony Chachere’s Italian Dressing for a little zing on top of the pizza. The salad has great texture and flavor and it pairs perfectly with a cheesy pizza crust. You could add a meat like salami or pepperoni into the chopped salad if desired, but this pizza is perfectly satisfying as is. While I am a fan of making my own dressings from time to time, Tony Chachere’s just released three new salad dressings that are perfect to keep in your pantry to add flavor to salads and so many more meals. I ended up using Tony Chachere’s Italian Dressing in this recipe, however, the Ranch Dressing and the French Dressing would also be delicious choices if you prefer them.

This recipe could not be any simpler. By simply having your freezer stocked with pizza dough and your fridge stocked with ready to go delicious Tony Chachere’s dressings means that you can whip up this chopped salad pizza whenever you want! Even on the most exhausting of days, you can have dinner ready in no time. Simply leave your pizza dough in the refrigerator to defrost the morning you want to bake it and then leave it at room temperature for a bit before rolling it out while you prep your salad ingredients. I love simple dinners that pack flavor and this recipe will not disappoint.
