Between Parks still waking up in his big boy bed during the night, the hubby working late a few nights this week, and my own work, I have been counting the days until the weekend and a lazy Saturday morning! To me there is nothing better than a weekend morning where you don’t have to rush out the door and can make a special breakfast that can be enjoyed by the whole family! For the first two weeks of January I was having a hard time getting out of holiday mode and back on track with regular everyday life. I talked to so many people who felt the same way this year and finally this week I started feeling like myself again in all aspects of my regular routine. I got back to eating real food, moving my body daily, and most importantly I got my work mojo back! One of the ways I like to stay on track is by starting my day off with a healthy and filling breakfast that gives me energy to power through the day! Oatmeal is a great way to start you day and you can add just about anything you want into a bowl and make it work! Halloween is this week and we got in the spirit by carving pumpkins over the weekend! Parks wanted no part of scooping out the insides (ha) but he was super into helping daddy decide on the facial expressions that each pumpkin should have!
